This Art has been painted in the Fall, 2005. It would be nice in the quality reproductions. Also available in small, glossy posters.
This painting of a boy with a flute has the light quality of belief in expression, as well as the colors I associate with the most delicate of flute playing. During the Rennaissance, there was such hope that the darkness had disappeared. I hope that such a condition will replace the present state on the Earth as well. |

Village Shepherd (right)
In this picture, a man with great knowledge helps a village below. The insight and joy depicted are evident as each person in the village grows. God's Love is evident, as is the natural beauty and dynamic of gentleness therein. |

Young Chinese Woman
Many Chinese girls were orphaned at some point. I became aware of this situation and have been concerned, as I have been concerned about many, many children in intolerable situations around the globe. Recently, I realized that the girls from those early years when I began praying are somewhat grown now. This young woman's generic picture represents the hope I have that their (the many) lives will improve now. |
Woman with Violin (right)
The soft colors present in the woman holding the violin represent her rich emotionality. The light portrayed will be there in her playing when she begins. She is readying for a performance and clear in her intention. |

Cello In Woods
The rich tones of the cello have often reminded me of the deepest cedar growth and forest colors as we are allowed to walk this Earth. I placed the musician out of doors to remind us of the many associations that music can have. Many great composers have realized sources of inspiration that were similar. She plays heard only by God and the animals nearby. |
White Pond Ducks (right)
A simple picture with love and an oddity of coloration. May someone enjoy the warmth of the picture. |

Blue Violin (left) and White Pond Ducks (above)
The woman holding the blue violin is slightly odd. She is highly technical and a little removed from her playing. Yet she is a virtuoso and a representatie of the highest caliber of performance training. Many people will be aghast at her speed and virtuosity. She is holding the violin backwards and will have to turn everything around in order to be ready. But she will, I'm sure. |
Blue Violin(above) and Dahlias (right)
a bright, pretty picture of flowers that fold inward and celebrate outward at the same time. |

Garden 1900
Some memories of stories told when I was young. My grandparents were born in the 1800s. It is amazing to be alive spanning this time frame. Hope you like the image. |

Clapping Man
In this picture, an African man is seen dancing and clapping in celebration of change. |
Man in Chair (right)
The man in the chair has wide. open eyes--usually a symbol of childlike innocence. However, he is capable of the highest discernment. It is a most unusual combination, the ability to see clearly what is and requires many levels of awareness. |

Ferns(above) and Water Frond (right)
These ferns are also feathers at the same time. They are a combination of abstraction and reverance for what we find in the soft differentiation of the two types of things.
The picture on the right also has two images superimposed--water and grasses. That is why the coloration is just so and why the water is opaque. The picture can be seen as an abstract or as a shifting landscape. |
